The Little Mermaid
Marshall Public School is proud to bring to the stage “The Little Mermaid.” The Danish fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, tells the story of a beautiful mermaid princess who dreams of becoming human. The stage adaptation of the Disney film with a book by Doug Wright and songs by Alan Menken and lyricists Glenn Slater will be sure to win the hearts of children and adults.
Ariel is a sixteen-year-old mermaid princess who is dissatisfied with underwater life in the kingdom of Atlantica. Ariel is curious about the human world, and with her best friend Flounder often goes to the surface of the ocean to visit Scuttle, a seagull who offers very inaccurate knowledge of human culture.
Follow the adventures of Ariel and her friends to see if her dream of becoming a human becomes real.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3 at 7 pm and Sunday, March 4 at 2:30 pm. General admission tickets are available at www.facebook.com/mhsapa/, at the Marshall Community Credit Union in Marshall or at the door. Adult tickets are $15 and Students/seniors are $12.
