The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a Ribbon Cutting Presentation for Chamber Member Pastrami Joe’s Deli to congratulate its new owners.
Jodi and John Lubis recently sold Pastrami Joe’s Deli to Andrew and Kelsey Scibbe who are very excited to be taking the helm of a well-established and loved local eatery. Andrew passionately stated, “We love the Marshall community and the people who live here. Everyone has to eat so we welcome everyone to our table!” Kelsey was raised in Marshall and Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience as he has been in the restaurant business for the last twelve years. He commented, “We intend to keep the deli much the same. We take pride in offering sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups, and pizzas made from high quality and fresh ingredients. It will remain a staple in this community.” He added, “The only change we see today is we hope to grow the catering side of the business and possibly expand the business to other communities.”
Pastrami Joe’s has always been a supporter of Marshall organizations. Andrew stated, “We will continue to be a supportive and vital part of this community! We plan to carry on traditions that were started with our previous owners. For instance, we will continue to host the Reuben Race for the benefit of the Fountain Clinic this year on Sept 17th.
