The Choose Marshall Chamber recently held a ribbon cutting event for Lash’d in downtown Marshall. Michaela Casarez opened the bright and contemporary studio in November 2020.
“I received my aesthetician’s license a few years ago but didn’t pursue it as a full-time career. Instead, I worked at Marshall Community Credit Union for about six years, and saw salon clients out of my home,” said Casarez. “When Covid hit, I started thinking about making a change. This space became available and I took the chance!”
Initially focusing primarily on lash extensions proved to be successful for Casarez. “There aren’t many places that specialize in just lashes, so we attract visitors from all over the area,” Casarez said. “After only a couple of months I was able to hire three more lash artists, which I wasn’t expecting to happen so quickly.” Now, Lash’d also offers eyebrow and eyelash tinting and numerous waxing services, and plans to expand into eyebrow microblading, Botox and fillers, and body sculpting services, all with additional licensed providers.
“We guarantee the highest quality products and professionalism to all our clients,” added Casarez. “We’re also happy to make appointments outside of our regular hours to accommodate people’s needs.”
