MAEDA Offers Business Marketing Workshop

Join Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) for an informative Small Business Academy workshop, “Marketing Your Business,” on March 12 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Tamara Davis will present practical applications of marketing concepts designed to grow small businesses. Basic marketing tools will be explained including market analysis and research, target marketing, assessing competitors, and key marketing implementation tools. Learn a strategic, well planned approach to marketing with several examples of effective hands-on marketing techniques.

Tamara Davis is the regional director for the Southwest Michigan SBDC. In this position she assists start-up and second-stage business ventures in developing feasibility studies, business plan development, accessing capital, strategic planning for exporting, accessing state and federal programs, strategic planning, and general business consultation.

Marketing Your Business will be held in the second-floor training room at the Marshall Public Services Building, 900 S. Marshall Ave.
