MAEDA Recognizes New Services at FUG, Inc.

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance and Chamber (MAEDA) recognized the installment of a UV flatbed printer at FUG, Inc. with a We Noticed presentation on February 13.

It is the mission of FUG, Inc. to be the premier provider of customized apparel in Southwest Michigan by providing quality, custom screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products. Their recent addition of a UV Flat Bed Printer has allowed FUG to offer a significant new printing option not available anywhere else in the area.

The new UV Flat Bed Printer prints high-quality pictures and graphics with striking color onto any item that is up to 6 ½” high, up to 5×8 feet in width and length and up to 220 lbs. “The items that you can print on are limited only by your imagination and a few size restrictions,” exclaimed owner Don Kujawa. “You can print on almost any item including a full-size door, a truck tailgate, a rock, ceramic tiles, acoustic ceiling tiles, metal, glass, leather, canvas, bricks, a guitar, a screen door, the cover of a phone and laptop computer and a toilet seat.”

MAEDA invites the public to an open house at FUG, Inc. on March 9 from 5-6 p.m. for a demonstration of their new UV Flat Bed Printer, to tour the facility and see samples of their printing. Light snacks will be provided by Pastrami Joe’s and coffee and cookies will be provided by Dark Horse Brewery.
