Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast 2018 – All are welcome!

Celebrate Marshall on Friday, May 18 at 7:30 a.m. at the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. This event brings together people of all faiths who recognize the role of religion and spirituality in their lives and in the greater Marshall community.

 

Committee chairs Jeanette and Jim Dyer invite the public to this annual observance to hear the good news of what’s happening in Marshall, network with friends and community leaders, and receive inspiration for the weeks to come. This year’s spiritual speaker is Rev. David Boedecker from Christ Lutheran Church with comments from Mayor Reed.

The program, hosted by Mayor Jack Reed, includes music by the Marshall Singers and the presentation of the Spiritual Day Minuteman Award by Susan Collins and Pineapple Award by Mayor Reed.

The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is generously sponsored by The Franke Center for the Arts, Maplewood of Marshall, Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) and Oaklawn.

The event takes place in the lower level of The Franke Center for the Arts located at 214 E. Mansion St. on Friday, May 18 at 7:30 a.m. Elevator access is available at the west entrance.
