Opening of Off Skate Vintage Celebrated

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance and Chamber (MAEDA) celebrated the opening of Off Skate Vintage in downtown Marshall with a ribbon cutting presentation on April 26.

Pictured from left are MAEDA staff, Chamber Ambassadors and friends Ann Michels, Margaret Taylor, Ian Stewart, Nancy Stulberg, Diane Peters, Claudea Templeton, Kristine Gilbert Gigante, Barb Gray, Robert Forest, Valorie Vaughan, Ashley Iovieno, Theresa Chaney Huggett, owner Carmen Weatherbee, Liz Woods, Sherri Mann, Steve Godbehere, Krisin Fish, Mary Crosby and Velvet Potter.

Off Skate Vintage is full of one-of-a-kind, unique mid-century modern furniture, home décor and vintage kitchen pieces. New items are continuously being added so owner Carmen Weatherbee recommends customers check back often for fresh finds. To add to the charm and for that personalized touch, Off Skate Vintage also specializes in custom painting of items.

“I am a retired derby girl with two boys and an obsession with anything vintage or kitschy things that make me laugh,” Carmen explains. “I love rescuing furniture that people have discarded and make it lovable again.”
