Rose’ Florist and Wine Room Cuts Ribbon

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) congratulated Rose’ Florist and Wine Room on their grand opening with a ribbon cutting presentation on March 26.

Pictured from left are MAEDA staff, Marshall Chamber Ambassadors and friends Billy Beers, Kara Beer, Dawn Castleman, Patrick Warner owner of Warner Wines, Pam Flynn, Kierith Kurth, Mayor Jack Reed, owner Greg Flees, Matt Walters, store manager Ellerie DeMoss, owner Kelly DeMoss, Sue Gleason, Barb Gray, Nancy Stulberg, Pat Herman, Margaret Oerther, Joan Rapp, Blake Bambach, Kim Mattis, Maya Williams, Ken Klingel, and Jane Reid.

Known as the store with the pink door, Rose’ Florist and Wine Room has opened in downtown Marshall with a grand flourish. New owners Greg Flees and Kelly DeMoss purchased the former Flower Haus and have begun to add their own personal flair. Continuing the same awe-inspiring floral arranging and delivery services, Greg and Kelly “want to inspire ourselves and our customers.” Rose’ features Michigan made products such as Kalamazoo Candles, Cherry Republic, chocolate, salsa, and are making connections to purchase flowers from farmers.

The fun continues in the renovated wine room that now contains a fireplace. The intimate, but lively atmosphere is the perfect place to gather with friends or hold a unique event.  “We want to make it happy,” indicated Kelly. “We are honored to continue our partnership with Warner Wines but have added an exciting twist as we now serve Froze’, a wine slushy.” Greg added, “we want a warm, friendly atmosphere and are lucky to have come together with our daughter, Ellerie DeMoss, to make our dream a reality.”

Future plans include patio seating, gift baskets and expanded comfortable seating in the wine room.
