Small Business Digital Marketing in 2018

Join Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) for an exciting Small Business Academy presentation, “Small Business Digital Marketing in 2018,” on April 17 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Public Services Building.

In this workshop, you’ll come away with relevant information and tools about digital marketing that fit the goals of your business and web presence. In 90 minutes Dr. Scott Cowley will cover EVERYTHING digital marketing, so come with questions.

Over the past decade businesses have been shifting marketing spending away from traditional media toward more digital channels: social media, digital advertising, search engine optimization, mobile apps and websites. Come learn about where we are today. What’s working for SMBs in 2018? What isn’t working or is less effective than in the past?

Dr. Scott Cowley is an award-winning digital marketing and social media professor in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University, where he also researches social media-based customer engagement and digital marketing strategies. His background includes in-house and agency roles in SEO and social media, and occasionally performs specialized digital marketing consulting.

Small Business Digital Marketing will be held from 8:30 to 10:00 am on April 17 in the second-floor training room at the Marshall Public Services Building, 900 S. Marshall Ave. This Small Business Academy is FREE for Marshall Chamber members and $10 for non-members. RSVPs are required by March 8 since space is limited.
