“Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Beginning of Marshall Community Garden Project”
You’re invited to witness a new MUMC initiative for the community at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Marshall Community Garden, set to take place on Wednesday, May 3 at 3 pm. The event will be the kick-off of the garden project, bringing together members of the community to celebrate its inception.
Following the ceremony, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Fresh Food Distribution event starting at 3:30 pm.
The Marshall Community Garden project aims to not only provide extra produce for the monthly Fresh Food Distribution at the church, but also to promote sustainability and community engagement. This groundbreaking ceremony signifies the first step towards realizing this vision, and all residents are encouraged to join in this occasion.
