Marshall History, No Mystery – Hairs to the Women of Marshall!

The Marshall Historical Society is hosting the ‘Hairs to the Women of Marshall’ event as part of the Marshall History, No Mystery series. Join us at the B.E. Henry Building on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30 p.m. to learn about three notable Marshall women: Sydney Ketchum, Lydia Ketchum, and Emily Brewer. Additionally, discover the fascinating social role of Mazie Miller. The program will then delve into the evolution of women’s hairstyles, including the use of hair receivers. Martha Bunde will showcase her collection of crystal, celluloid, porcelain, and hand-painted receivers. Whether you’re blond or brunette, bald or hairy, male or female, this program promises an intriguing experience!
