The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a New Chamber Member Ribbon Cutting to welcome Serendipity & The Brew, a new coffee shop and boutique gift store, to downtown Marshall.
Store owner, Jen Dale, and her husband, Eric Dale purchased Serendipity in August of 2020. They renovated and revamped the previous Serendipity and opened as Serendipity & The Brew in March of 2021. Store customers will now notice a new and updated spin on a store that had been a Marshall tradition for 30 years.
Serendipity & The Brew offers a wide variety of exclusive gifts, gourmet foods and teas, body care products, home décor and more! Dale looked for merchandise that would match various decorating styles. She commented, “We would like to help you welcome in every season with unique, fresh, and bold ideas or new approaches to add to your own personal style.” She added, “We carry premium home décor and gourmet food brands such as Bridgewater Candle Company, Country Home Creations, Stonewall Kitchen, Tea Forte, and a wide selection of locally sourced gourmet ground or whole-bean coffee.” Serendipity also offers complimentary gift wrapping and creative gift baskets. The perfect gift for any occasion.
With over 30 flavors of coffees and teas (decaffeinated options too), The Brew offers the perfect place to comfortably sit and visit with a friend or colleague over a hot or cold beverage. Treat yourself to a scrumptious homemade muffin or scone. Weather permitting, outdoors tables are also available. The trained baristas highlight weekly drink specials and will assist customers with finding the perfect beverage. Currently featured are “Springtime – Girl Scout Edition” drinks. Choose from Samoa Latte, Tagalong Latte, Shortbread Shake or Thin Mint Latte. All can be served as a coffee, tea or shake. The Brew also serves the popular Boba drink served in iced coffee, tea, or shakes. Dale mentioned, “My college-aged daughter told me we had to offer these very trendy drinks!”
