Fall Fun for Everyone

Marshall offers the most unique experiences.

Welcome to Marshall, Michigan! Home of the famous Historical Home Tour, Spooktacular events for adults and kids alike, and a Historic Walking Tour.

Experience the Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween artisan show being held at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds on September 30, 2023. For years, this group of hand-selected artists has gathered together in the spirit of Halloween. On this day of magic, the veil is lifted, and you are invited into an enchanting world, celebrating the very best in Halloween art.

In the afternoon head to the Marshall SkeletonFest family-friendly kickoff party which runs from 1-4pm and will have a DJ, face painting, kids’ axe throwing, a giant Connect Four and other games. Walk through the streets of Marshall and pose with over 60 life-sized and super-sized skeletons ready to tickle your funny bone. These skeletons can be found all over Marshall, September 30-October 31. Visit often, take selfies, and share your photos! #MarshallSkeletonFest

Into the night, adults can enjoy seasonal cocktails at several establishments around town. Grab a drink in the Social District and walk around town taking photos with your favorite boneheads. Then, head to Dark Horse Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest, offering several new fall releases, German fare, and live music.

Speaking of fall events, head to Cornwell’s Turkeyville where they are hosting a Haunted Adventure every weekend in October. Here, you’ll experience hayrides, a haunted train, corn maze, cider and donuts, and have your pick from the pumpkin patch.

Mid-October, the retailers will host a Sip ‘N Shop Halloween themed event where everyone is encouraged to dress up and make their way into the shops for festive foods, drinks, and specials. It’s never too early to get started on your holiday shopping.

Make sure to take time to enjoy the Marshall Riverwalk and watch the beauty of the season share shades of yellows, orange and red as the leaves start to change. Take a relaxing float down the river in your kayaks and view the wildlife or go fishing.

As we draw near the end of the month, bring the whole family to the Firefighters’ Halloween Parade that allows kids to trick or treat businesses downtown. This event is always held on the last Saturday in October and attracts hundreds of ghosts, ghouls, and goblins!  Finally, enjoy trick or treating the streets of Marshall on October 31 from a recommended time of 5:30-8:00pm. Make sure to keep an eye out and go extra slow for all the littles running amuck!

As always, thank you for Choosing Marshall.
