Nathan Grabowski started Hazeltree Woodworking in 2012, and has specialized in designing, making, and installing custom cabinetry and remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms. Recently, Nathan purchased a building in downtown Marshall to increase the visibility of Hazeltree. Customers may view displays of his work firsthand in the lower level showroom.

As a complement to his thriving business, Nathan invited Handle & Hinge to move into the main floor. Caryn Drenth, owner of Handle & Hinge, is excited to share space with Hazeltree as she continues to offer the same high-caliber service and residential and commercial door, cabinet and key and lock hardware. The store touts over 500 cabinet knobs and pulls in stock with thousands of others on display and available within a week. Taking pride in providing high-quality, keys are made with a factory punch instead of ground which guarantees the integrity of the key copy.

Both Hazeltree Woodworking and Handle & Hinge share many of the same philosophies including offering personalized, expert, customized service to each customer. Product samples of cabinet hardware, flooring and countertops may be signed out from both businesses to ensure complete satisfaction before ordering. With a mindset of carrying locally made and Michigan made products, Hazeltree uses Chelsea Plank Flooring, hardwoods from Johnson’s in Charlotte and granite and quartz countertops from MKD, while Handle & Hinge carries a large variety Michigan made cabinet hardware.

“We are thrilled with the collaboration and the ability to offer in-house, one-stop shopping,” stated Caryn. “I’m excited to be part of downtown and to work with Caryn to provide customers with high quality products and unique ideas and solutions,” added Nathan.
