Celebration of Trees
Downtown Marshall will have a special glow and sparkle with the “Celebration of Trees” event taking place from November 23 through January 3, 2023.
Remember a loved one, recognize a favorite organization, or spread hope and cheer by sponsoring and decorating a downtown holiday tree. Limited numbers of short and tall trees available to sponsor.
Small 3-foot trees will be placed in the cement planters located downtown along Michigan Avenue, by City Hall and in Carver Park. They will be anchored with live garland and contain a memorial/honorarium plaque.
Tall 6-foot trees will be placed on the lawn in front of City Hall and in Carver Park. They will lighted and contain a memorial/honorarium plaque.
All decorations must be supplied by sponsor and must be weather resistant. Short trees have no electricity and should be decorated with smaller or less decorations. All decorations must be wired, zip tied, or otherwise securely fastened to either the tree or the garland. (No decorations may be pushed into the dirt because they cannot be removed once the soil has frozen.)
To reserve your tree, fill out and submit this registration form and return your payment to the Choose Marshall Welcome Center. You can mail a check (made payable to MAEDA) to 323 West Michigan Avenue, Marshall, MI 49068, make a credit card payment over the phone at 269-781-5163 or stop by with your payment in person.
If you have any questions please call the Choose Marshall Welcome Center or email kimber@choosemarshall.com.
