Special Events
Downtown Marshall will be blocked off on Saturday, June 25, for the Annual Marshall Blues Festival. Bring your chairs and sunscreen and spend the day listening to multiple bands while visiting the beer tent, food trucks, and stores.
Join us for a block party on Michigan Avenue for the 2nd Annual Market on Main Block Party. This day will be jam-packed full of activities for kids and adults. Shop the Social District, listen to live music and play a game or two of cornhole. There will also be eating contests, a pet parade and real-life alligators – so cool!
Kicking off at noon on July 22, at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds is The Marshall Bluegrass Festival with several live performances and events such as cornhole tournaments, Bloody Mary contest, ladies’ poker run, and Michigan Band Scramble.
After booking your stay at one of the local bed and breakfasts or hotels, climb aboard the complimentary trolley which will take you to all the action. The trolley holds 13 passengers and makes regular loops around Marshall every hour – for free. Hop on and off at different stops as often as you like.
With so many places putting out different styles of music, you are sure to find something to soothe your soul. If great entertainment is what you’re looking for this summer, Marshall is the place to visit. #choosemarshall
