The berm will create screening for the residential homes south of the MAJOR Campus on the other side of the Kalamazoo River.
Construction is underway on a large screening berm along the southern edge of the BlueOval Battery Park. This berm will provide greenspace and screening for homes south of the MAJOR Campus on the other side of the Kalamazoo River.
This massive berm will extend over 4,000 feet along the southern edge of the BlueOval Battery Park and stand 15 feet high with additional screening achieved by placing 8-foot trees on top that will eventually grow to 35 feet.
This project signifies our dedication to promoting greenspace and conservation, including the planting of new trees to promote the natural wildlife in the area.
