Brass Band of Battle Creek

The Brass Band of Battle Creek (BBBC) is a 31-member professional brass band which performs music of all styles. Over the last 30 years, the BBBC has become recognized as one of the premier brass ensembles in the world, and has seen its membership grow to include many of the finest brass and percussion performers from around the United States and Great Britain.

In addition to concerts and other professional musical performances, the BBBC is committed to providing youth education programs for students in Battle Creek, Calhoun County and surrounding communities. The band sponsors two summer Youth Brass Band camp programs for middle and high school students, giving them the opportunity to learn and perform side-by-side with BBBC member artists hailing from our nation’s top music schools, symphony orchestras and brass ensembles.  During the school year, education outreach programs bring BBBC artists and staff into area schools to work with and inspire local music students, and twice each year local elementary students are transported to W.K. Kellogg Auditorium for the popular Young Peoples’ Concerts. The Brass Band of Battle Creek is a 501(c)3 organization, and has a rich history of support from area charitable foundations, local businesses and generous individual donors.
