2019 Celebration of Trees

Celebration of Trees is a beautiful display of fir trees aptly decorated for the holidays. Honor a loved one,  highlight an organization, represent your school, church or show that your business has the spirit of the holidays by sponsoring and decorating a tree.

The trees will grace the lawns of the Honolulu House which overlook the Brooks Memorial Fountain.  There will be a special Mayor’s tree that will add a festive feeling to the Marshall City Hall lawn.  There are 25 trees available and will be sold on a first-come basis.  The cost of sponsorship is $100 and includes a five to seven foot tree, a personalized marker and environmentally responsible disposal of the tree after the event.

Trees are personally decorated by you, the sponsor, with LED lights and weather proof ornaments. The tree lighting ceremony will commence with the lighting of the mayor’s tree at 6:50 p.m. with the 55th Annual Marshall Christmas Parade following at 7:00 pm on December 2 and will remain in place until January 3, 2020.
