Stroll Marshall’s historic downtown district, beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Downtown Marshall will have a special glow and sparkle with the “Celebration of Trees” event taking place from November 27, 2024 through January 7, 2025.
Remember a loved one, recognize a favorite organization, or spread hope and cheer by sponsoring and decorating a downtown holiday tree. Limited numbers of short and tall trees available to sponsor.
Small 4-foot trees will be placed in the cement planters located downtown along Michigan Avenue, by City Hall, and in Carver Park. They will be anchored with garland and contain a memorial/honorarium plaque. These trees are NEW THIS YEAR, taller than in years past and more “full”.
Tall 6-foot trees will be placed on the lawn in front of City Hall and in Carver Park (3 at each site). They will lighted and will also contain a memorial/honorarium plaque.
Decorations must be supplied by the sponsor and must be weather resistant. All decorations must be wired, zip tied, or otherwise securely fastened to either the tree or the garland. These trees are not lighted and have no electricity available. No decorations may be pushed into the dirt because they cannot be removed once the soil has frozen.
