INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES
Celebration of Trees is a way to honor or memorialize a loved one or to show support for Marshall. Each sponsor will decorate a 4-foot tree that will be in a downtown Marshall cement planter. Each planter will also have a length of garland around the tree base. You can request a specific location, but trees are first-come, first-reserved and your tree is not reserved until payment is received.
• DECORATIONS are supplied by the sponsor and must be weather-proof and securely fastened (with wire or zip ties) to the tree or garland. No decorations can be pushed into the dirt.
• LIGHTS These trees have NO LIGHTS and NO ELECTRICITY ACCESS.
• PLAQUE Each tree will have a plaque with wording of your choice.
• TIMELINE Trees must be decorated between Saturday, November 14 and Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
• Decorations must be removed between December 31 and January 4, 2027. Trees will be removed on January 5.
WAIVER
I have read, understand, and agree to the instructions and rules for sponsoring a Celebration Tree. I understand that MAEDA is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of any items that I use to decorate my tree.
