Christmas Parade
Kick off the holidays with one of Marshall's most beloved events, the Annual Christmas Parade.
The Choose Marshall Chamber is excited to announce Marshall’s first-ever Official Christmas Tree – a beautiful 26-foot LED Panel Tree with a four-foot star.
The inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony, Saturday, November 30 at 6pm on the south lawn of the historic Honolulu House, will mark the beginning of a new holiday tradition in the heart of downtown Marshall. The event coincides with Shop Small Saturday, a day designated to shop locally and support Marshall’s retailers.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony promises to be a joyful gathering and will serve as a symbolic beacon of community holiday spirit and unity. “We’re thrilled to announce this new tradition to Marshall,” said Patty Williams, Business Development Manager, Choose Marshall. “The event is an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate the season, and support local businesses on Shop Small Saturday. We look forward to seeing families gather to create lasting memories. This is a special event that promises to bring warmth and joy to all.”
This festive celebration will feature a special performance by the Marshall Choral Society along with the choir leading a Christmas carol for all to sing in unison. Complimentary cocoa will be generously donated by Kellogg Community Credit Union, and Santa will even be in attendance to flip the switch and light the tree! Attendees will also have an opportunity to see Mrs. Claus that evening.
Williams added, “Let’s come together to light up the night and the holiday season in Marshall! We’re particularly excited about the involvement of local organizations, individuals and businesses, whose contributions will make this tree possible for all to enjoy. It is a testament to the strong supportive and giving spirit of Marshall. We welcome donations for the tree of all levels.”
The Choose Marshall Chamber invites everyone to be a part of something magical with this new holiday tradition. Many levels of giving are available and will help to ensure its success and create lasting memories for the residents of Marshall.
