1. PREPARE Put on your wristband (received with your Cruiser Packet).
2. CHECK-IN between 11-12:30pm
Use 1631 Pratt Avenue on your mapping software to find the check-in tent.
• If you have not yet registered, you will be directed to the parking lot to the east of the line-up to fill out paperwork and pay your $20 entry fee.
• There are 3 porta-potties located along Pratt Avenue and the Marshall Rotary will have a golf car with snacks and drinks for purchase.
To cruise and park for the car show, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR WRISTBAND ON AND THE WINDOW CLING ON YOUR WINDSHIELD.
3. CRUISE starts at 1pm
The cruise will leave Pratt Avenue at 1pm with a police escort, followed by the Marshall Trolley Pace Car and the past 2 winners. See map on left for Cruise Route. Please stay close to the cruiser in front of you, while keeping a safe distance (try to eliminate large gaps). This is a rolling closure, side streets along Old 27 South will not be closed, but cruisers have the right of way. Do not stop at stop signs or traffic lights, keep following the car in front of you. However, you MUST stop if the train crossing is down!
4. CAR SHOW
On the far end of Michigan Avenue, cruisers will loop around and travel back towards the fountain and begin angle parking along the north side of Michigan Aveue. No early parking will be allowed. Follow the directions of the parking volunteers. Vehicles are to remain parked and not running for the duration of the event. Place your Info Sheet on your dashboard (with your car #, make/model, etc).
5. AWARDS
Awards will be announced at 4pm for Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior and Best of Show.
6. END OF SHOW
Cars will be escorted out starting at 5pm. Please be patient while those in front of you move out. All cars must leave Michigan Avenue. You are encouraged to return and cruise or park after 6pm and enjoy the town.
