Investment in water and wastewater infrastructure expansion is crucial for the health of our community as well as ongoing efforts to protect our lakes, rivers and streams.
The Emmett Township Loop Water Transmission Main begins with a 20-inch diameter pipeline on Verona Road just east of Raymond Road.
The main extends along Verona Road, making a connection with the Verona Loop Water Transmission Main (Project 8). The main then transitions to a 12” water main turning south along 11 Mile Road to near H Drive North. The water main will be installed by conventional open-cut methods. The new water transmission main will supply water from the City of Battle Creek through Emmett Township to the Project 8 transmission main and the Marshall Facilities Site near Michigan Avenue and 15 Mile Road.
