The Choose Marshall Chamber is excited to announce Marshall’s Community Christmas Tree – a beautiful 30-foot LED Panel Tree with a four-foot star.
Christmas Parade
Kick off the holidays with one of Marshall's most beloved events, the Annual Christmas Parade!
All ages love grabbing a hot cup of cocoa and watching the dazzling lights, floats, marching bands, fire trucks, horses and much more, followed by an appearance of the jolly old man himself – Santa Claus! The parade is always scheduled on the Monday after Thanksgiving, beginning at 7pm sharp.
The Marshall Christmas Parade has been a cherished family tradition for over 60 years, bringing together family and friends to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. According to Jennifer Conley Darling, a long-time Marshall resident, “For many of us, this event marks the beginning of the holiday season. It’s fun to see people of all ages line up downtown to watch the show go by. No matter the weather, people show up!”
The parade is one of the largest and most popular in West Michigan and will be live-streamed on the Choose Marshall facebook page. In this way, former residents or interested people world-wide can enjoy this fabulous parade.
As always, the parade will feature favorite local marching bands, stunning floats, and a special visit from Santa Claus to welcome the holiday season!
