On the wings of crows and the backs of black cats, something quite magical is swirling through the air this September. The whisper of a Bewitching Halloween carries on the wind and settles once again on the Calhoun County Fairgrounds. Join us for Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween, bringing you the top artists from around the country, specializing in all things magical and enchanted. The hand-curated show offers up one-of-a-kind art dolls, blown glass, pottery, paintings, wearable art, spun cotton, assemblage art, sculpture, tintype photography, jewelry, edible confections and a tremendous amount of charm.
Over 60 artists bring with them energy and magic that make Bewitching Peddlers a true feast for the eyes. Jennifer Hepler-Takens, a curator of Bewitching Peddlers, has created a community of fine Halloween artisans. The show has gained national recognition as the premier Halloween fine art show in the country.
Bewitching Peddlers will host an Artist Meet and Mingle with the unique opportunity to meet many of your favorite well-known artists on the evening of September 27, from 5-7pm.
