The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a We Noticed Ribbon Cutting presentation to congratulate Choose Marshall Chamber Member, DeVine & Company.
DeVine and Company owners, Katy and Jason DeVine, have created a unique multi-use space just south of downtown Marshall at the corner of South Linden Street and Industrial Road. The DeVines are excited to bring a positive energy to this area of the Marshall community. “We offer a boutique and coffee shop where customers can sip a coffee or tea, shop and relax in a space created with an industrial flare and with a calming but fun energy. Our store offers unique gifts, women’s clothing, jewelry, candles, locally made items, and more! We also recently purchased The Harvester, a full-service floral shop, and moved that business to our retail complex. We even kept the same floral designers.”
In addition to the retail area, the DeVines have created an intimate event destination called The Gathering. This venue, continuing with the rustic and industrial yet cozy design, offers seating for up to 65 people and includes a 15 foot. bar area and a fireplace. An outdoor space is also available for a tent and additional seating. Katy stated, “We hope this intimate space is the perfect venue for graduation parties, corporate functions, family gatherings, bridal and baby showers or a small wedding. We have outdoor electrical outlets for those who desire to hire a food truck for their event. You may bring in your own food and alcoholic drinks or hire a caterer to take care of your needs.” The Gathering also offers many rental options and add-ons, including use of a commercial kitchen. The DeVines suggest calling the office to learn more about those options. “We want to offer to our customers the ability to have an event that fits their own special needs. We encourage folks to stop by to take a tour and learn about what we have to offer.”
The DeVine & Company complex also includes their daughter Samantha Banfield’s hair salon, Studio 810, and son, Drew DeVine’s baseball training facility, Dreams to Reality, where he trains and coaches baseball players individually and as teams. The DeVines have recently sold their other business, Party Time Tents (now Party Time Events), but continue to lease space to the new owners. Dr. Jamie Longhurst Family Medicine’s practice is also located on the property.
