Choose Marshall Chamber Welcomes Alternatives Care Center of Battle Creek as a New Chamber Member
The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome Alternatives Care Center of Battle Creek (ACC) as a new chamber member.
Alternatives Care Center, a non-profit, pro-life, faith-based pregnancy care center, is proud to announce the expansion of its holistic, comprehensive, compassionate, and confidential reproductive health services to the Marshall community. For over 42 years, ACC has empowered women and families in the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek areas to make informed decisions about their reproductive health by providing vital care at no cost. ACC offers a wide range of free services, including pregnancy testing and options counseling, ultrasounds, STI/STD testing and treatment, and community referrals.
Executive Director Cathy Stoner emphasized the organization's commitment to the Marshall community, stating, "We want to assist men and women in Marshall and continue to build relationships by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Our resources equip our clients to face the future with hope and purpose and empower individuals and families to make informed decisions and provide support throughout their journey " She added, "ACC also serves the whole family, as we offer informative parenting and co-parenting education programs to ensure continued support for our clients."
As a 100% donor-funded organization with a large volunteer base, ACC is dedicated to supporting the well-being of the entire family. In addition to medical services, the care center also provides a free clothing room for those in need.
