The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a ribbon cutting to welcome and congratulate The Hub@128 as a new chamber member.
The Hub@128 owner Jaime Loughrige-McAllister and Business Manager Marissa Silvers have created a shared membership-based community workspace in downtown Marshall. The space includes multiple open office workstations, two enclosed offices, and both conference and podcast rooms outfitted with up-to-date technology. The entire space is also ADA accessible. McAllister stated, “We are a space intentionally designed for professionals, creatives, laborers, contractors, entrepreneurs, social workers/counselors, teachers, and community members where we welcome you to come work, network, collaborate and get your best work done.” She added, “We are very excited to open this great asset to the Marshall community. Our intention is to be flexible and versatile. We would also like The Hub@128 to be a comfortable space where local businesses can hold workshops or social events. We welcome input so please come meet with us and find out more and let us know how we can help you.”
The business offers three different tiers of membership levels, each one allowing a different range of options. The regular office hours are Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm, with extended hours for members. The space may also be rented for private events after 6pm and on weekends. Silvers added, “Come work in our space however many times a month works with your busy schedule. We offer anything from a day pass to unlimited times a month. With membership, we include flexible office space complete with desks, bar-top, chairs and couches, and many amenities such as coffee and tea, office supplies, printing, laminating and whiteboards. If you need overnight accommodations, we also have two newly renovated and comfortable Airbnb rentals upstairs.”
