Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance, Choose Marshall, recently held a Ribbon Cutting and New Chamber Member Presentation for Marshall resident, Joe Pelle, Wine Advisor for Wines for Humanity.
Joe and his wife, Laura, recently moved to Marshall from the Detroit area. Joe is a State of Michigan retiree, and in 2019 became a wine advisor for Wines for Humanity (WFH). Wines for Humanity offers private in-home wine sampling events, which provide an evening of fun while raising money for local charities. “A two-hour wine tasting event is a great way to gather your friends and family for an educational and unforgettable experience,” Joe Pelle stated. By hosting a party for $69, you will enjoy a fun, educational and entertaining presentation, sample seven wines of your choice from a portfolio of 30-40 wines (including red, white, sparkling, rose, organic and fortified), which are sourced from award-winning vineyards around the world. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the wines your guests purchase at the event benefits a local charity of your choice.
Joe commented on the ease of planning an event. “It couldn’t be simpler. All you have to do is gather six to eighteen friends, choose your wines, provide cheese and crackers and/or other food pairings, pick a local charity, and I’ll do the rest!”
