Choose Marshall Chamber Welcomes Just-Bead-It as a New Chamber Member

Just-Bead-It has been a destination in downtown Marshall for 24 years. For ten of those years store owner, Cindy Heath, also owned and operated jewelry and bead stores in Coldwater, St. Joseph, South Haven and Saugatuck, Michigan. She now operates only the Marshall store where she can devote more of her time to the creative and artistic side of the business. Heath’s passion is jewelry, and she doesn’t know how to stop. “I’m so grateful for the incredible support I have received over the years from the Marshall community. I love making connections with my customers and providing a space where people can express their creativity,” exclaimed Heath.

The store is filled with beads of all sorts and sizes, gemstones, and all the necessary jewelry making supplies. Additionally, Heath is skilled at jewelry repairs. Her favorite part of the business is her vast selection of curated vintage jewelry pieces that she buys, sells, and repairs. Heath commented, “Each piece has a soul and a history that speaks to me. I love passing that story along to the next owner. It is such a joy to give these treasures a new life.”

The store’s kids’ section was recently enlarged, and customers will find high quality beads and jewelry making kits packaged in special containers guaranteed to delight your favorite child. There are also jewelry kits available for adult crafting. Due to the store’s limited space, it is best to plan to purchase and take your items home to create your jewelry masterpiece.

Just-Bead-It also specializes in a large selection of handmade pieces available for purchase. Recently, Heath created a new jewelry line called ‘Love That!’ These pieces are creatively handmade by Heath with high-quality gemstones, beads, and filigree, and she offers stainless steel (nickel safe, hypoallergenic, and non-corrosive) jewelry as well. Customers will find her jewelry pieces available in her store and on her Etsy shop, FiligreeJunction.

In the future, Heath hopes to enlarge some of her current space to accommodate workshops and would also like to add a charitable element to her shop. She dreams of creating an artist’s cooperative in Marshall for local artists to sell their artwork.
