The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a ribbon cutting to welcome Livemic Communications as a new chamber member.

Founder and President of Livemic Communications, Richard Piet, is not new to the media scene.  Richard has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial radio news industry, interviewing a wide range of newsmakers and guests.  As a former weekday morning show host on local radio station WBCK, Piet is known for his engaging and conversational interview style that puts his guests at ease.

In 2020 Piet began “The Richard Piet Show” podcast, which now has regular listeners across the globe.  Piet recognized the need to help business and non-profit leaders understand and share their stories and missions with others, and established Livemic Communications in 2021. Piet stated, “I help businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs share their stories with purposeful podcast interview discussion.  This helps experts and thought leaders show their expertise, build trust relationships and business.”  Piet added, “I’m excited to be a part of the Choose Marshall Chamber with all that is currently happening in the Marshall area.”

Piet also hosts and produces a Calhoun County-focused podcast “Community Matters”, an interview program focused on community leaders and newsmakers in and around Calhoun County.  “Community Matters” is heard Saturdays, 8-9am on WBCK-FM (95.3) and anytime at battlecreekpodcast.com.  To learn more about Livemic Communications visit livemiccommunications.com or follow the business on Facebook.
