Choose Marshall Chamber Welcomes the Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Chapter as a New Chamber Member

The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall Chamber recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially welcome the Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter as its newest member, strengthening the commitment to community vitality and support services within the Marshall area. This new membership reflects the Chamber's commitment to supporting organizations that improve the quality of life for all Marshall residents.
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. The Michigan Chapter provides essential services throughout the state, including Marshall, offering a lifeline to thousands of families impacted by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Their critical programs include a free, confidential 24/7 Helpline, caregiver support groups, care consultation programs, and various educational resources for families and professionals.
Katey Carrier, Southwest Regional Development Manager for the Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter overseeing Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Berrien counties, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership. "Joining the Choose Marshall Chamber marks an exciting opportunity to deepen our roots in the Marshall community. We know that Alzheimer's and dementia can be isolating, and we want to ensure that no one in the Marshall area has to face this disease alone”. Carrier added, “We look forward to collaborating with local businesses and community leaders to expand our reach, increase awareness of brain health, and ensure that the vital resources of the Alzheimer's Association are easily accessible to every family who needs them."
