The Choose Marshall Chamber recently held a New Chamber Member presentation for Xcel Staffing, located at 117 East Michigan Avenue, Marshall. The downtown location is the latest Xcel Staffing branch, with other locations in Jackson, Kalamazoo, Albion, and onsite at Michigan Automotive Compressor Inc. (MACI) in Parma.
“We work with our employer clients to service their needs,” said Jen Kinstle, Xcel Staffing Director of Operations. “Being the employer of record, Xcel recruits, tests, and trains high-quality employees and acts as the ‘matchmaker’ to find the best fit for both the individual and the company. Our goal is to provide candidates with great career choices and long-term positions,” Kinstle added. After an initial 90-day period, companies may directly hire an Xcel Staffing candidate, although there are times where an organization hires an Xcel “rock star” prior to the trial period being over, noted Kinstle.
Specializing in opportunities in manufacturing, Xcel Staffing also has clients looking to fill skilled labor, customer service, administrative, and supervisory positions. “We think it’s important to be an involved part of any community we operate in,” said Kinstle. “We’re looking forward to supporting Marshall Chamber events and activities as well as the Marshall area as a whole.”
