Choose Marshall Congratulates Dark Horse Brewing Co on Newly Remodeled Beer Garten
The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a We Noticed Ribbon Cutting presentation to congratulate the newly remodeled Beer Garten at Dark Horse.

Dark Horse Brewing Co is excited to welcome old and new customers to the newly remodeled Beer Garten at Dark Horse.
The area now has a concrete floor with a spacious U-shaped Hi-top bar that seats 40. Picnic table seating for up to 110 along with large colorful posters of past Dark Horse events adorn the walls. There are also propane space heaters to keep customers warm as the temperatures start to drop. Customers will find their favorite Dark Horse and Roak beer flowing from the 34 tap handles throughout the compound. Driven by a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen, you will find the food menu in the Garten to be slightly different. Menu choices in the Garten include delicious golden crispy fried chicken, mouthwatering burgers, fish tacos and of course their famous pizza led by the Detroit Style.
Chuck Mascari, Partner at Dark Horse, stated “We are in the process of deciding which of the past Dark Horse events along with new events we would like to add to our upcoming calendar. We plant to utilize the newly renovated Beer Garten for these events and are looking at ways to bring people together during the winter months.” He added, “We intend to better embrace the community and become more civically involved and have featured events throughout the year.”
On Friday, October 28th the Beer Garten at Dark Horse will host a Halloween Bash. Mascari commented, “We encourage those who show up in costumes will enjoy $3 pint deals. We will feature music, local artists and most of all fun!” Customers will also be pleased to learn Dark Horse will be bringing back the beloved Annual 4 Elf Party on Saturday, December 10th. Led by their Bourbon Barrel Aged Release Beers along with live bands and delicious food this all-day event is a must for Dark Horse enthusiasts. $5 entry for those dressed as an Elf and $10 for those that are not. Doors open at 11 am.
The Beer Garten at Dark Horse is also available for rentals. Mascari stated, “With our expansion, we would love to host weddings, private parties, fundraisers, and family gatherings. Our catering menu is second to none. With seating up to 150 people, a jukebox and band stage this is a perfect venue for all.”
Dark Horse Commons offers up your favorite beer to go in cans, kegs, and growlers. New to the lineup this past year is the To Go Counter. Not in the mood for cooking, the counter offers up 15 + selections of fully cooked scratch Italian and comfort food meals on the run. So many favorites to mention, you will have to stop in and see for yourself.
Dark Horse Brewing Co plan to distill spirits in the coming months and recently added a line of seltzers available in the Tap Room and The Commons.
