The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall held a ribbon cutting to welcome the boutique Urban Reflections as a new chamber member.

Urban Reflections opened in the summer of 2023 and offers a curated selection of unique vintage and modern clothing, accessories, and home goods. From trendy apparel to one-of-a-kind jewelry, the store caters to a diverse range of tastes and styles. The store also offers a wide selection of permanent jewelry and charm bar options. Owner Marissa Burghdorf stated, “We are excited to be a part of the vibrant downtown Marshall retail scene and the positive growth in our community.” She added, “The increasing interest in thrifting has been a great boost for our store, and we’re always looking to expand our collection of unique vintage finds. We encourage anyone with vintage items to stop by and show us what they have!”.


Marissa and her husband Tyler have plans for store expansion in the near future. The Burghdorf’s are deeply rooted in the Marshall community. Born and raised in Marshall, they bring a wealth of local knowledge and a passion for supporting the downtown area. Roughly a decade ago, they successfully owned and operated two other downtown Marshall businesses.


Located at 125A West Michigan Avenue in downtown Marshall, Urban Reflections is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12pm – 6pm and Sundays 12pm – 4pm. Follow the boutique on social media for updates and new arrivals.
