MAEDA staff, Marshall Chamber Ambassadors, family and friends gathered to congratulate James and Lauren Hackworth (center) on the grand opening of Dream On Roasters and Coffee Consultants.
Dream On Roasters & Coffee Consultants is owned by James & Lauren Hackworth, which is located in the lower level of Outside the Box Wellness Café.
The Hackworth’s, who previously owned and operated a coffee shop, have a passionate, driven, coffee focused background. The vast knowledge gained while running their own business as well as the experience obtained while helping other coffee and food businesses launch, James and Lauren have a wealth of applicable industry expertise.
“This has been a dream of ours for several years,” stated James Hackworth. “Lauren and I are thrilled to have our own coffee roasting company and to continue to be consultants for other roasters.”
The mission of Dream On Roasters is to offer the finest selection of coffees, and to strive for excellence and creativity to keep their coffee selections vibrant. Their goal is to establish high- quality roast profiles that are consistent and reproducible every time.
Their philosophy of excellence extends not only to their relationships with customers but also in establishing superior roast profiles that are consistent and reproducible every time. To achieve this goal, James traveled to Guatemala to create a direct partnership with a coffee farm in the Acatenango area. James is a self-taught roaster who has seen his work expand from the coffee shop to the shelves of Whole Foods, Busch’s, and other retailers.
