Eastend Studio & Gallery has completed another phase of transformation to its 1870 building. The second floor now houses gallery space that can be rented for special events, studio space which is available for an artist to rent as a permanent studio, bathrooms, a ceramics studio, and the Bloomsbury themed classroom space. A new ADA compliant bathroom and staircase were also added to the previously renovated first floor.

“The renovations allow us to provide art education to over 50 children enrolled in our six weekly classes,” stated Kat Whaley. “We are excited to share our love of art and inspire upcoming artists, and to have the space to accommodate that creativity.” To round out programing, Eastend also offers a range of classes for adults.

Future renovation plans include completing renovation of the third-floor ballroom and addition of an elevator. “We are extremely grateful to the many sponsors, donations and volunteers that are making this dream possible,” said Warner Ball.
