Fountain Clinic is New Marshall Chamber Member

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance and Chamber (MAEDA) proudly welcomed the Fountain Clinic as a new Marshall Chamber member with a presentation on March 7.

The Fountain Clinic is a free clinic which has offered primary medical and dental care for over 25 years to the uninsured, under-insured and those with low incomes. The clinic utilizes over 20 community volunteers that provided the needed services including physicians, dentists, physician assistants and counselors. Last year, the Fountain Clinic served 1,085 patients with 3,500 appointments.

The Fountain Clinic is funded through community support, grants and fundraising events. “We greatly appreciate the generosity of the Marshall Community and the support they give us through our fundraising efforts,” said Fountain Clinic Executive Director Mary Jo Byrne. Upcoming events include the 4th Annual Reuben Race on March 18, the Spring Craft Show on March 25 and Night at the Louvre on June 9.
