ALICE IN WONDERLAND THEMED GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT COMES TO MARSHALL

Twenty small businesses are putting on a tea party and all the ladies are invited!

Marshall, Michigan (June 6, 2018) The popular Thursday night Girls’ Night Out event series is kicking off on June 14th, 2018 in shops around Marshall.  Twenty of the town’s fabulous shops will be staying open until 8:30 p.m. and hosting an “Alice in Wonderland” themed tea party.

During “Alice’s Tea Party,” participants will be able to play oversized yard games around town and try to win special discounts and prizes.  Some of the games lined up so far include a croquet game at Eastend Studio and Gallery, a Yardzee game at Handle & Hinge, Giant Cards at Grandma’s Toys and Treats, A Teacup Toss at The Green Scene, Chess Games at The Mitten Word, A Ring Toss at paper and i and an Alice-themed beanbag toss game at Living MI.  “Stores are really excited about this theme and are getting really creative about their games.  This will be a theme that everyone will really enjoy,” commented Caryn Drenth, owner of Handle & Hinge.

In addition to all the fun yard games, most stores will also have their usual snacks and beverages on hand.  This night will also be a great opportunity to shop for Father’s Day and any upcoming birthdays, showers or weddings.  “We have so many new stores downtown.  This night is a great chance to check them out in addition to your usual favorites,” shared Claudia Murch, owner of The Green Scene.
