Grandma’s Baby Boutique

Choose Marshall Welcomes Grandma’s Baby Boutique.

The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance, Choose Marshall, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Grandma’s Baby Boutique in downtown Marshall and welcomed the business as a new Chamber member.

Located at 209 West Michigan Avenue, Grandma’s Baby Boutique occupies the former Grandma’s Party and Play location and is owned and operated by Laura Buczynski and Dorie Hamilton. The duo also has owned Grandma’s Toys and Treats since 2017. “We loved having the play space,” said Hamilton. “But due to the Covid-19 crisis and our concern for the health and safety of children and their families, we decided to pursue another dream and here we are!”

“We saw an opportunity to bring something new and needed to the Marshall area,” said Buczynski. “We’re always open to suggestions, too—we’re interested in learning about what new parents need and the latest trends.”

In addition to baby clothes and accessories to size 24 months, the boutique carries toys and books, baptism and christening gowns, breastfeeding supplies, cloth diapers, bath products, bassinets and cribs, and more. Gift certificates and gift wrapping are available. A private room for baby showers is another unique feature of the business.

“Opening the baby boutique also has allowed us to expand our selection for older kids at Grandma’s Toys and Treats. The stores complement each other well,” adds the pair. “We’re looking forward to working with the Choose Marshall Chamber to grow another successful business and are excited to welcome many new and familiar faces to our store.”

Grandma’s Baby Boutique is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and may be contacted at 269-719-0546 or [email protected].
