The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA)/Choose Marshall is pleased to announce it has received a $1,000 grant from White Pine Grove Solar, LLC (WPG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC (LRE), on behalf of both WPG and LRE, to support Chamber member businesses through the Marshall Bucks program. MAEDA will match their grant with another $1000.
The funding will support the continuation of the popular Marshall Bucks “matching” program, in which an individual may receive a “match” of up to $25 for $25 or more of Marshall Bucks purchased. Marshall Bucks, able to be used at over 80 participating Choose Marshall Chamber Member businesses, is a simple gift certificate program that works just like a check and are available for purchase at the Marshall Welcome Center or with credit card over the phone. This Marshall Bucks match sponsored by WPG and LRE will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, February 7th and will continue until the $2,000 in funding is exhausted. There is a limit of one purchase per household.
