The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance, Choose Marshall, recently held a ribbon-cutting and New Chamber Member ceremony for LISH Nutrition in downtown Marshall.

Owned and operated by sisters Grace Wheeler and Ellie Woods, LISH opened in April 2020 and is named in honor of a former colleague who lost her life but dreamed of opening a business in Marshall. Located at 205 West Michigan Avenue, the store sells high protein, low sugar meal replacement shakes and smoothies in a wide variety of flavors; unsweet teas and tea bombs; and hot or iced coffee drinks. “Although we opened at a difficult time given the COVID-19 restrictions, we were fortunate to be able to offer online ordering and curbside pickup, and started attracting customers right away,” said Wheeler.

In addition to the wide variety of drinks, the owners are planning to provide fitness classes in the near future. “We’re looking to hold Fit Camp and Cardio Drumming exercise classes, as well as Healthy Living classes on topics like simple and healthy meal prep,” said Woods.

“We saw an opportunity to bring something new to downtown Marshall,” the owners added. “We grew up here and are excited to be part of our great business community.”
