MAEDA congratulates B.E. Henry Building Association on renovations

Marshall Area Economic Development and Alliance and Chamber (MAEDA) celebrated the significant renovations of the B. E. Henry Building with a We Noticed presentation on November 17.

The B.E. Henry Building, a true Marshall landmark, has recently received a major restoration. The building holds many fond memories for many who worked to bring the renovations to reality as it once housed youth participating in events at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds. “This was a personal project for many of us since we often attended Saturday night dances here as teenagers,” claimed board member Bonnie Rocco.

The updates made to the inside of the B.E. Henry Building include new furnaces and air conditioners, all new electrical wiring with services updated to 20 amps, new flooring and new tables and chairs. The renovations continue outside with a new roof, siding, lighting, replacement of the blacktop parking lot and concrete sidewalk and a new storage room. “We would not have been able to do all the work if not for the support of the Marshall Community Foundation, Marshall Cronin Foundation and Lucile Moore Estate,“ said board president Charlie Letts. “The board is blessed and proud of everything that has been accomplished.”

The B. E. Henry Building is an alcohol-free facility available to rent with space for 150-250 people upstairs and 150 people downstairs. For more information regarding renting the B.E.
