MAEDA congratulates Marshall Community Meeting Center

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance and Chamber celebrated the opening of the Marshall Community Meeting Center with a ribbon cutting presentation on May 8.

Kristen Flynn has a huge, unique vision for providing business promotions and support. The Marshall Community Meeting Center is multi-faceted in mission and offers rentable retail space and expo center on the first floor and a meeting and business center upstairs.

The front section of the first floor contains six spaces that can be rented monthly by retail businesses.  “This is perfect for a business that does not need a whole storefront but still wants a presence in downtown Marshall,” indicated Kristen.

The first floor also serves as an expo center with space for fifteen 6-foot tables. There will be expos each Saturday which will rotate among the themes of vintage, art, business, and healthy living. “We want to showcase the wide-variety of businesses we have in the area and the expos will support that cause,” stated Kristen.

The second floor will be a diverse business center. This concept provides private, quiet, short-term space for meetings, cubicle office space and secretarial support. The space is flexible enough for a large meeting or one-on-one consults. The secretarial services will include printing, WIFI access and AV support.
