“We are proud to have a modern facility that can not only support our players but will draw visitors into our community,” said president Mark Clapper. “We are extremely grateful to the efforts and generosity of the many sponsors and volunteers that made this idea a reality.” While Clapper is thankful to everyone involved he gave special thanks to Vice President Eric Dale for his tireless efforts to plan the facility and obtain contractors that volunteered their time and talents.

The Marshall Soccer Club is part of the West Michigan Youth Soccer Association and is run by a volunteer board of directors and also relies on volunteers to coach, maintain the nine fields, and run the concession stand. Currently, the program includes 165 players ranging in age from 4-18 years that play from March through October. Additionally, the Marshall Soccer complex is the practice site for the Marshall High School boys’ and girls’ soccer teams as well as recently hosting the LAX USA lacrosse tournament.
