MAEDA Recognizes The Mole Hole’s Recent Updates

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) recognized The Mole Hole for recent updates with a presentation January 17.

The Mole Hole has been a destination store in downtown Marshall for over 40 years when Mike and Penny Kinter moved to Marshall and opened The Mole Hole in 1977. Continuing the family tradition, their daughter Kristin Holbrook became the owner five years ago.

Still dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service and offering “something for everyone,” Kristin has also begun to add her own personal touch. New signage for both The Mole Hole and Mr. Mole’s Toy Room lure customers inside to find a welcoming store bursting with unique gift ideas for anyone on your list-including yourself. You’ll find candles, greeting cards, home décor, clothing and women’s accessories, baby, collegiate items, jewelry, Christmas décor and ornaments, and kitchen & wine accessories. They also carry toys and plush from over 50 toy vendors in Mr. Mole’s Toy room which celebrated its fourth anniversary this past October. The Mole Hole also treats customers to a touch of nostalgia with music from the pipe organ that has been in the store since it opened.

“I want to mix the traditional and high-quality with the whimsical and current trends,” stated Kristin. “We want this to be a welcoming environment where you can come in and browse and find something unexpected but also just the right thing at the same time.”

Enjoy an ultimate shopping experience at The Mole Hole located at 150 W. Michigan Ave. in downtown Marshall or contact them at 269-781-5923. Visit their website, http://www.moleholemarshall.com.
