Marshall Chamber and COVID-19

The Marshall Chamber is here to help.

I wanted to reach out to assure you that the Marshall Chamber is monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely. We are working to meet the needs and provide for the health and safety of our Chamber members, business community and staff.

I will continue to be available to you via telephone, 269-781-5163 or email, [email protected] Contact us with any suggestions regarding how we can best support you or the rest of the business community.

The following Marshall Chamber events have been cancelled:

  • Chamber Ambassador Meeting: March 18
  • What’s Brewing: April 9
  • Small Business Academy: “The 5 Step Marketing Strategy:” April 23

We realize that this health situation will continue to cause disruption to many busineses so wanted to share information to help you navigate this trying difficult time:

Governor Whitmer just ordered that all restaurants and bars be closed to dine-in customers, effective today, March 16 at 3:00 p.m., though they can remain open for takeout and delivery. Due to this, many businesses may begin to offer delivery or take-out services so contact your local restaurant, pub or retailer to determine their policy. A list of area businesses can be found on our website,

How can you support your community?

  • Follow the CDC guidelines to keep yourself and others safe:
  • Purchase gift certificate or membership from area businesses to use in the future.
  • Tip generously.
  • Donate to a not-for-profit that is supporting others during this time.
  • Be patient, kind and understanding as we all work together.
