Marshall Water Treatment Plant Improvements
The Marshall Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Improvements project consists of filter vessel rehabilitation and media replacement, a new standby power generator and upgrades to the water supply well house piping and valves.
The planned WTP improvements will bolster the existing treatment system for the additional water demand associated with the increased industrial water demand from the customers at the MAJOR campus increasing service capability and reliability of the City of Marshall’s water treatment infrastructure.
Electrical, controls and chemical feed improvements are also included.

The City of Marshall’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) will undergo an upgrade as increased wastewater flows originating from the MAJOR campus will need to be treated.
The upgrade will include a new headworks facility used for screening the wastewater as it enters the plant and a new equalization basin that stabilizes the flows before they enter treatment.
The headworks facility will replace the existing inflow structures that have long been in service. The new flows will be conveyed to the plant via the Sanitary Sewer Force Main.
