Build Your own Website workshop on June 11

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) invites the public to attend the workshop, How to Build a Business Website.

Does your business have an online presence? If not, you’re missing out on potential customers. Let the technology experts from the Marshall District Library, Matt Harmon and Jerry Michel, show you how to get your business online and visible to prospective clientele at little or no cost.

Topics will include planning website content, choosing a content management system, e-commerce, website security, maintenance, and usability.

Matt Harmon has a degree in Business Administration and is Head of Information Technology at the Marshall District Library. He manages the library network, coordinates technology programming, updates computers, and supervises the library’s technology team.

Jerry Michel is pursuing a Computer Programming degree at KCC and has over 7 years of experience managing and developing websites.

This insightful workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 11 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Marshall District Library, 124 W. Green St.

Space is limited, so RSVP is required by June 9, 269-781-5163 or [email protected]. This workshop is free for Marshall Chamber members and $10 for potential members.
